President's Note

Namaste, selamat datang, and a heartfelt welcome!

It is my honour to serve as President of India Club Jakarta, a not‑for‑profit community that unites people of Indian origin—and friends of India—in this wonderful city we all call home. Together we celebrate our rich heritage, support one another, and give back to the broader Indonesian society.

Our purpose is simple yet powerful:

- Celebrate our festivals, arts, and traditions with pride and inclusivity.

- Connect members across ages and professions through networking, sports, and family events.

- Contribute to the community around us through education drives, charity initiatives, and cultural exchange.

I am fortunate to be backed by a highly talented and passionate Committee. Over the next two years we will roll out a calendar filled with festivals, cultural showcases, professional mixers, youth programmes, and outreach projects. We will also leverage our collective network to help members navigate any personal or professional challenges that arise while living in Indonesia.

But a club is only as vibrant as its members. Whether you’re a long‑standing resident or have just landed in Jakarta, I invite you to jump in: volunteer, perform, mentor, play, cheer, and add your unique spark. With your energy and participation we can amplify India’s colourful spirit—right here in Indonesia—while forging friendships that last a lifetime.
